Gas prices are:
still crazy.... I paid $2.859 yesterday, 13.992 gallons was $40.00. Now I _know_ that gas will next be .98cents like it was the weekend I bought my Saturn in April 1999 but the news keep saying how much gas prices have some down and yes...they have come down from $3.00+ they still are crazy high. And immediately after the presidental election prices are going to go right back up and higher.
I've been feeling more serene this week. Serene sounds like of strange but I'm not as sad and unhappy as a couple of weeks ago and that is good. Today my 'big plans' are to vaccuum and then use the carpet cleaner machine I borrowed from Evan. And do laundry, need to wash the bedding. Today is cold - high expected of 37, yikes! Tomorrow should be a little warmer, 50, so Halloween costumes won't be snowsuits! I have some ideas of what I'm going to wear/dress-up in.
I'm also starting to think about what to buy for peoples for Xmas. Any ideas? L, E

The price to drive the Peep Jeep
All the extra driving I have been doing for the Condo has really been adding up. And how gas prices are moving up too isn't helping. I paid $40.00 for only 13.429 gallons...2.979 per gallon. And that wasn't even 3/4 full in my tank. Oh well. I'm filling up to the very top Sunday night...if for any reason my Peep Jeep has to sit undriven for more then a few days, its best to have the full tank.
Its crazy warm in my house again.... Will leave the a/c on today when I leave for the post office, bank and work in about 20 minutes. Such fun.
Oh! The 'wonderful' vaccuum my parents gave me for my B'day isn't working anymore...:( I tried to use it a few weeks ago and couldn't get it to turn on. I tried for about 20 minutes or so but couldn't get it working. I've been busy with work/condo stuff and just pushed that annoyance to the back on my mind. Last night I wanted to vaccuum...carpet really needed it and about 2 weeks ago I managed to spill the little paper circles from my 3-hole punch all over the floor in the kitchen and they have been tracked all over the livingroom. And the doghair is out of control. Once again, vaccuum refused to turn on...:( I called my dad and he said he'd "look at it" what whatever that mean I will have to wait and see. So I pulled out the old "sucks but doesn't actually suck" vaccuum and did an okay job. Carpet and tile floors look better.
Ok, going to lie down and relax for 15+ minutes until its time to run out the door! Have a nice FRIDAY! L, E

She's killing me!
Laurey has the worst gas EVER! For the past few days and especially today, she has been KILLING me! You just have no idea. And I sure don't know where this gas is coming from. She hasn't eaten anything other the her dogfood and normal people food that she has eaten before. Hopefully it will clear up soon! She's just killing me!
My weekend was pretty much nothing. Worked a little on Saturday but didn't feel very good Sunday so I called in. I did some cleaning around my house and that is nice, I like having a clean house. Today I didn't do too much, had therapy and tried to take a nap. Laurey and I went out to stretch our legs but not really a walk...just cold and no motivation.
Oh, I found Laurey sleeping in the dogbed in the bedroom the other night! She won't even step on that bed usually but I guess she figuered that since I was sleeping, it was safe to sneak a sleep on it. And then she rolled over and right off! Granted it wasn't a fall but it was funny since she jumped up! She's so cute....:) L, E
